Krillo, is named after a type of cocoa bean known as "Criollo". There are three types of cocoa beans, namely Criollo, Forastero and Trinitario, where Criollo is the most precious of the three. It carries a well blended flavor complexity harboring tasting notes of nuts, caramel, fruit and tobacco. Taking cue from Criollo’s high standards, we are passionate at offering top quality products while creating a wide range of artisanal chocolates.
Kakaw, is the homonym of Cacao. The key to delicious chocolates relies indisputably on the right foundation: picking quality beans.
Established in 2016, Krillo Kakaw began its operations in chocolate production. In addition to the classics such as white, dark and milk chocolate, Krillo Kakaw is also committed to promoting iconic Malaysian delicacies. The company has since launched a variety of artisanal chocolates, namely Durian Chocolate, Tongkat Ali Chocolate, Coconut Chocolate, Chili Chocolate and many more.
Other than producing our very own range, the company works with other brands to manufacture a wide range of chocolate products. Among them, The C’apple Company, Krillo X, Kacao and more, are our long-term partners.
